Goodbye, my 20s
As I near my 29th birthday (May 14th), I can't help but reflect on how far I've come in this decade. I want to celebrate the passing of my second decade instead of dreading it, so I have decided to reminisce in a different kind of way.
Goodbye, my 20's is a new blog I am starting that is dedicated ONLY to one single sketchbook that I aim to FILL in one year.
The blog is still a work in progress and I will likely make some edits to the design and even the first post...but I wanted to tell you guys where to find it!
I'm REALLY looking forward to sketching some memories...my first attempt is the banner which shows four different stages of... me -ish ... (through haircuts, mostly) and that at the end there? That's totally a gray hair. OMG.
Please spread the word! (not about the gray hair you guys...the blog!)

I better be in 93% of these posts! haha ;)
ReplyDeleteI second Keith's comment :)
ReplyDeleteGreat idea Renee! I got drunk one night (how most stories in your twenties begin) with a friend this past summer and we made a list of 30 things to do before I turn 30. Needless to say the list - composed on 3 cocktail napkins - was quite hilarious. I think I completed three things on the list.
ReplyDeleteCheers to your final year as a twenty-something! And it is only fitting that I read this tremendous blog on my final day as a twenty-something!
Hi Renee;
ReplyDeleteThis is really a great idea we and look forward to seeing what you come up with.
Oh and by the way,I hope Mom and I will be in your sketchbook. Remember, we had a lot to do with your 20's... hahahahahaha
oh jeez...
ReplyDeleteOh boy, a new blog! As soon as I'm finished writing this comment I'm heading over for a look!
ReplyDeleteOkay, I'm finished.
