It doesn't feel like Spring in New England. The most we can do is pretend. I pretend by adding flowers with happy faces to pictures of myself. In case you didn't know, that's me up there sketching away on a doodle date with art buddy Julia Denos (picture credit).
I don't usually post pictures of myself but even though I'm always drawing, it's rare to catch me in a photo doing it! Behold. Riveting, I know. ;)
Another thing that comes along with the beginning of Spring are the holidays. The image above is a little something I created for the FableVision Studios Blog last year where some of us described our favorite Easter and Passover traditions. The image concept was creatively thought up by FableVision's Naomi Greenfield. If you have a few minutes, the post is an interesting read!
Another Spring-ish thing that is happening - new headers everywhere and canary, baby chick, daffodil, yellow, yellow, yellow! (Once Blogger cooperates, this background will be yellow as well.) I can't think of a more joyous color than yellow.
